Player Profile

David was a product of the Swindon Town youth team and also son of Swindon legend Ken Stroud.He first joined Basingstoke on work experience at the end of the 2004/05 season and had a succesful run in the first team.David then received a run in the Swindon first team although injury brought this to an end.He was sent back on loan to Basingstoke with Ben Wells in 2006 and was a member of the FA Cup side that knocked Chesterfield out of the competition. He was recalled by Swindon soon after in November 2006.
