Goalkeeper Louis signed for Basingstoke in June 2013 from Dartford where he was part of the squad that won promotion to the Conference via the play-offs. He originally started his career at Staines before spells with Hayes, Aldershot Town and Maidenhead United. He then had a second spell at Staines and was an integral part of the team that won promotion to the Conference South.Louis made his Basingstoke debut on the opening day of the 2013/14 season with a win away at newly promoted Concord Rangers. His first clean sheet came two games later against eventual Conference South Champions Eastleigh. He went on to rack up 42 appearances in a Basingstoke shirt before an injury in the return game at Eastleigh in April ended his season prematurely. He was released in May 2014 as manager Jason Bristow looked to freshen up his squad.
