Mark started off at Portsmouth but was released in the summer of 2003 when he joined Basingstoke.Mark was mainly a reserve team player during the 2003/04 season and only made five appearances.In pre-season 2004, Mark broke his hand in a number of places which ruled him out until March 2005 when he got a run in the team. He carried his good form into the 2005/06 season when he was a regular.He was released by new boss Francis Vines in May 2006.
