Nathan joined The Stoke from Southern League outfit AFC Totton in June 2012. The tall defensive midfielder had also previously played for Chipstead and Croydon Athletic.He initially struggled to break into the first team side, but after a loan spell at Chesham, ended his first season as a reagular in the Basingstoke team. After resigning for 2013/14, Nathan again struggled to secure a first team place. After a loan spell with Kingstonian, Nathan joined Maidstone United permanently in December.
