Neville started as a trainee with Reading before spells with Southend, Oldham, Torquay, Stevenage and Slough.Roach signed for Basingstoke in June 2002. He spent 3 impressive years with us scoring 57 goals in 150 appearances.In June 2005, Roach rejected a new contract offer and joined Conference South rivals Eastleigh, where he also had a loan spell with League 2 side Oxford United.New manager Francis Vines was able to persuade Neville back to the club in June 2006. The striker struggled for form though and joined Southern League side Maidenhead United in January 2007.
