Robbie joined Basingstoke in 2009 from Wycombe Wanderers. Whilst predominantly a right back, the reliable defender was competent anywhere along the back line and captained the side on a number of occasions. He was voted Away Fans Player of the Year for 2009/10 and was an important member of two Conference South Play-Off qualifying squads. Robbie made over 250 appearances during seven seasons at The Camrose before leaving the club in May 2016.
