Vince originally joined the club with the desire to keep fit and play the occasional game. However, injuries to other goalkeepers Graham Benstead and Clive Lyttle gave Vince a chance in the first team and he started most of the remaining games in the 1998/99 season after impressing.After taking some time back in Australia, Vince returned to The Camrose for the 2000/01 season. However, the arrival of Scott Tarr meant Vince had dropped back down the pecking order and after only one appearance and spells on loan and in the reserves, Vince left the Club.
