About Berkhamsted F.C

Berkhamsted FC were formed in 2009 following the demise of Berkhamsted Town, with the new club adopting the “Comrades” nickname used by their predecessors, who were originally formed as Berkhamsted Comrades in 1919. Based in the Hertfordshire town of Berkhamsted, the club play at Broadwater, which has been the home of local senior football since the early 1980s. The new club made an immediate impact, winning the Spartan South Midlands League Division Two title in their first season and Division One the following year, including a remarkable 107-point campaign in 2010–11.

Berkhamsted continued to climb the pyramid, finishing runners-up in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division in 2017–18 to earn promotion to the Southern League. They won the Southern League Division One Central title in 2022–23, reaching Step 3 for the first time, and also recorded their best FA Cup runs with appearances in the third qualifying round in 2022–23 and 2023–24. After relegation in 2023–24, they bounced back immediately, winning promotion again through the 2024–25 play-offs and returning to the Southern League Premier South.
