Billy Upton

Billy Upton is a commanding centre-back and current captain of Basingstoke Town. Known for his strength in the air and aggressive tackling, he provides a reliable presence at the heart of defence while also posing a threat from set-pieces. Upton combines physicality with composure on the ball, making him comfortable in both defensive duties and build-up play. Having scored goals in previous seasons and quickly opened his account at Basingstoke, he has shown his ability at both ends of the pitch. Still in his early twenties, Upton is developing into a leader and key figure for the club.
