Player Bio

David originally joined Basingstoke in 2002 having spent time as a youngster with Crystal Palace and West Ham. He made his debut aged 17 and instantly became an important member of the first team. Whilst predominantly appearing from the middle of midfield, David also covered in defence and attack when required during his initial four and a half year spell at The Camrose. In June 2007, David left the club and joined Conference South rivals Bognor Regis Town for a fee of £3,500. He later featured for Farnborough as well as Carshalton Athletic, where he was captain for three years.He rejoined Basingstoke in February 2013, by this point well established as a central defender. David was made club captain at the end of 2014 and has accumulated over 350 first team appearances across his two spells in North Hampshire. He also captained the side in the 2014/15 Conference South Play-Offs.David signed a new two year contract in June 2016.
