George was a product of the Basingstoke Town Academy who was first involved with the first team squad in late 2014. He signed first team forms for the 2015/16 season and scored on his full debut in a Hampshire Cup tie at Blackfield & Langley. Between 2014 and early 2016, he enjoyed loan spells with Fleet Town, Tadley Calleva, Slough Town and Farnborough.George signed a contract for the 2016/17 season and netted nine times in twenty-seven appearances. He left the club by mutual consent in December 2016.
