Bio

Lewis Colwell first arrived at Basingstoke Town in January 2025 on loan from Chippenham Town, having come through the Plymouth Argyle academy. The young defender quickly established himself in the side, making 14 appearances during the second half of the 2024/25 season and scoring once. He featured regularly at right-back, including during Town's run-in.

After two seasons at Chippenham and a move to Truro City, Colwell returned to the 'Stoke in September 2026 on a three-month loan. His return means a promising first spell has developed into a second chapter at Winklebury, with the defender once again wearing the Town shirt.
