Signed on-loan from Portsmouth during the 1997/98 season, making four appearances for the club.He later moved onto Crystal Palace, although he failed to make a first team appearance for the Eagles before joining Torquay United, where he made just five appearances for the Gulls.The 1999/00 season saw Paul join Carlisle United, where he spent the next two years, making some 22 appearances and scoring three goals, before a move to Australian side Wollongong City, before returning to England to have spells with Macclesfield Town, Welsh side Merthyr Tydfil and Exeter City.Harries once again returned to Australia for the 2003/04 season, joining Football Kingz before moving onto Wollongong Wolves for the 2004/05 season.
