Steve started his career at the Reading youth academy but was released in 2003. He signed for us in June 2003 but was released in October after failing to impress. He then signed for Farnborough Town but failed to make an impact there too and eventually joined Dorking in January 2004. He rejoined Farnborough Town at the start of the 2005/06 season and became one of the top players at Cherrywood Road. He left after the club folded in May 2007 and rejoined Basingstoke after turning down professional contracts in the Conference National due to work commitments.Steve started life very brightly at The Camrose but his appearances were limited to 30 due to a knee injury mid way through the season. In May 2008 he left The Camrose and joined new club Farnborough FC. After just one season back at Farnborough, he was deemed surplus to requirements by new boss Steve King and rejoined us on a one month loan. After finally being released by Farnborough, Steve re-joined 'Stoke permanently and spent another season and a half at The Camrose before leaving the club in February 2011 to go and play football in Australia.
